- About: We, at KOPE INITIATIVES deal in a wide variety of ecological, ethnic, organic and fair-traded products. Most of our products are made by artisans (victims of natural disasters and from rehab programs). Currently we promote bags, garments and paper products made by rural folk who were victims of the earthquake in January 2001 (which occurred at a place called Kutch, in the state of Gujarat, in India). Our organization has a modest setup, where we employ men & women from lower economic strata of life, paying them above-average salaries, providing them with good work conditions and we do not employ child labor.
